Mobile Site for National Science Festival
National Science Organisers choose Spiders and Milk to launch Mobile Website
National Science and Engineering Week organisers are holding their annual Festival this year in Teignmouth.

The organisers wanted to promote the festival to as many people as possible and knew that they couldn't ignore mobile as most people now use them for searching for local events and what's on in their area.
With several events during the week-long festival which are held in different venues around the town, they wanted a portal that contained all the necessary information, without confusing people.
The organisers also wanted the site to impart knowledge in a unique way (It's celebrating science after all), so, as an integral part of the site, we included a series of pages, each of which cover a piece of famous science-based history associated with the town.
Sue Blake, Director of the Festival says - "Spiders and Milk have done a fantastic job, they really understood what we wanted and helped us make the right decision, it looks brilliant!"

Mobile Websites Product Launch
Announcing the launch of our New Mobile Website Templates for Business!
Mobile Internet use is growing in significance and will be crucial to all business in the near future, but mobile users need different information to those sitting at a desktop.Websites are not designed for mobiles and even though web enabled phones can access them, they often load very slowly and render incorrectly for a mobile screen.
I am constantly frustrated by tiny text or missing sections when accessing the web through my phone, which is why Spiders and Milk have put together a range of mobile websites specifically to give users a good experience.
However, its not just the customer that needs to have a good experience when accessing online information through the mobile. Being in business today means having an online presence and many of us will have experienced the frustration of not being in control of our website content, having to rely on the whims of third parties to look after it.
Having been through that experience myself, I wanted a mobile website for my business that I had control of, I wanted a simple to use content management system that would let me change images, text, colours and logo's at will.. So that's what we did, every mobile website comes with its own, easy-to-use content management system giving you complete control.
Why not build an App instead of a mobile website?
Apps are very trendy but you have to pay for an App for each type of phone or risk alienating large sections of your audience. A mobile website is built once and works for every phone.
Spiders and Milk Mobile Website templates;
• Work for iPhone, Blackberry, Android (& all mobile phones). Each template is compatible with over 5000 devices currently.
• Give you complete control of your site. Add/Remove pages, images, logos and text.
• Automatically redirects customers using their phones to the mobile version of your site when they type in your existing web domain name. There is no need for a new domain name.
You want your customers to have a great experience with your brand regardless of how they access your content. Let's face it, you have spent time and resources on ensuring great looking content for the web, why fall at the final hurdle and leave your mobile users with a bad experience?
All feedback appreciated.
