Predictions for Web and Mobile in 2011
As this is a new blog and we've launched our new website, I thought a quick look ahead to a new year was fitting for the first post.
We have seen a lot of attention around the "checkin", geolocation and combining the physical with digital in 2010 and this is likely to continue into 2011. There are many startups who are pushing the boundaries of these area's and while some have shot ahead and will be difficult to beat in the next 12 months, there is still no sign of a definitive innovation that captures our attention and engenders addictive use in the same way that Facebook and Twitter have. The niche is still wide open..
